Lauching to the moon
today we tried to get a balloon carrying objects to release air connected to a straw on a string. The objective was to make it hit the top of the wall. Our group decided to put some of the small objects in th balloons, add some open balloons and see if they would carry everything to the top. This did not work and balloon actually went backwards. We then tried another one without anything, and it made it almost to the top, and the third time it actually did make it to the top, with just a balloon and nothing inside of it. We tried to do this a couple more times, but sucked at it and it went backwards again and one time we forgot to tape it and it flew around the room.

This lab is a lot more challenging than it appears at first glance, but don't forget to mention how it ties into the key point for this lab. How did you try to utilize Newton's 3rd law in order to transport those items with the balloon?
